The Maya Angelou Public Charter School, designed by Shinberg.Levinas, was featured prominently at a national conference on charter school development. The building was one of only two visited as part of the program.
Shinberg.Levinas was featured in The Gazette for its design of the new sanctuary, social hall and school addition to B'nai Tzedek in Potomac, Maryland.
The SouthEast Academy of Scholastic Excellence Public Charter School successfully completed its first academic year with 600 students in its converted Safeway building. Demand is so strong that the school is contemplating a new second phase structure designed by Shinberg.Levinas to complete the pre-K through grade 12 program.
Our design for two buildings on Evening Island, in the Chicago Botanical Gardens, will be completed in late Spring.
The U.S. Secretary of Commerce dedicated the Technology Center at the See Forever Foundation, designed by Shinberg.Levinas.
Dedication of Congregation B'nai Tzedek took place in January, 2001.
The headquarters of the D.C. Public Charter School Board, designed by Shinberg.Levinas, were opened at a reception also attended by newly appointed members of the DC School Board.
Construction of a small synagogue in Gaithersburg, Maryland, that has made very effective use of its budget, will be completed this Spring.
Shinberg.Levinas' proposed design for a shopping center is under planning review. The center will contain retail, major grocery and office space.
