This large-scale renovation project successfully updated a Colonial house from the 1950s for the present, using stylish and timeless elements throughout the entire structure.
    This photograph features the fireplace, which we modernized in several ways. First, we installed huge windows on either side, thus integrating the fireplace with the garden outside and bringing in natural light. Second, the fireplace itself is a unique centerpiece featuring simple ash paneling, a slate hearth and a freeform mahogany shelf. The result is a living area that is at once warm and inviting, sleek and modern.
