Home to an art collector with sophisticated taste, the interior of this large Bethesda residence strikes a fine balance between modern and classical. This image features a unique limestone fireplace that serves as the centerpiece of an area opening onto the garden.
    Throughout this large-scale renovation, we created a sense of continuity by using wood from the Anagre tree for paneling and other details, and by carefully arranging light so that it radiates warmth and softness without being intrusive. Other aspects of the project were all-new designs for the library, kitchen, living room, family room and staircases.
