- Carlos has eight years of experience working on a variety of projects in New York City. Having worked with both large scale commercial and civic projects, as well as high end residential interior projects, he is well versed in a variety of construction types and presentation methods. Carlos joined Handel Architects' New York office in 2006. While with Handel Architects, he worked on many different hospitality and high rise condominium projects, focusing on exterior wall detailing. He lead teams in preparation of exterior and shell packages, from schematics through construction administration.

- Previously Carlos was Job Captain for the Kent County Courthouse at Ricci Greene Associates. At Ricci Greene, he was responsible for the programming, schematic design and exterior detailing of the Kent County Courthouse, a 1.2 million square foot renovation and addition. He also participated in the programming and schematic design of a number of other justice projects throughout the Northeast and California. Prior to this, he was involved in a number of residential and commercial projects with Franke, Gottsegen Cox, and have since independently executed several apartment and townhouse renovations in New York City.

- Carlos also has done pro bono design build work with Habitat for Humanity and Dream Build, Inc., and has completed competitions for the High Line in New York City, the Biennale in Venice, and a multimedia furniture installation in Ithaca. He received his architecture degree from Cornell University in 2000, and studied architecture throughout Italy for a semester.
