Irene Nafpliotis is an Architectural designer with over 15 years of experience. She has been involved in broad range of projects from multi-family mixed use, science &technology, commercial office, educational facility’s & interiors as well as master planning. Prior to joining Shinberg Levinas Irene worked with firms such as RTKL and Shalom Baranes Architects in Washington DC.
While at RTKL Irene focused on conceptual design and was the lead designer for research laboratory for the facility that included offices, a greenhouse and biological safety laboratories. At Shalom Baranes Architects she worked on multiple multifamily mixed used projects and focused on envelope design detailing and unit design.
At Shinberg Levinas she is working on Hyde Addison Addition project in Georgetown, Washington DC, and 2715 Pennsylvania Avenue – Mixed use residential in Georgetown, Washington DC.
Irene enjoys teaching and attends jury reviews at CUA from 2005 to present.
She also been involved in architectural and graphic design international competitions.
Irene has a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic School in Alexandria Virginia and Bachelors of Architecture from Catholic University of America in Washington DC.
