Paola has a strong background in commercial and interior design. She studied in Rome and she started her career in the South of France as a registered architect working on some major building renovations, mixed used projects and commercial design.
With more than 20 years of experience in Europe, her winning concept for the Vespa boutiques brought her to the to the United States. She provided a flexible concept for the various stores and points of sale, bringing the Italian lifestyle flavor in the US boutiques. Paola’s Architectural design in the United States includes, The Arlington Independent Media studio design, some commercial and mixed used project in Washington DC and furniture design. She has been a featured speaker at the Embassy of Italy about the Milan Triennale.
At Shinberg.Levinas, Paola has worked as Project Architect for the Ennismore Garden Residence in Knightsbridge London, UK; the new Lafayette Recreation Center, West light Condo by Enrique Norten, and Vermont Avenue Residence in Washington, DC ; and the Blackley Residence overlooking the Spout Run in Virginia. Additionally, Ms. Lugli provided architectural design assistance in the new construction of Eagle Academy Elementary School at Naylor Road in Washington, DC.
She has a Professional Bachelor's of Architecture degree from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in Italy.
