Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience

  • Professional Degree in Architecture

  • Experience in institutional, commercial, and residential work

  • Strong design sensibility

  • Experience in project management, project documentation, and construction administration.

  • Established ability to lead a project, meet deadlines, and coordinate consultant scope.

  • 3D modeling, rendering, and graphical representation proficiency is required, i.e., Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino3d, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

  • Must be able to commute to the office in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate across consultants, contractors, and ownership to ensure project alignment and execution

  • Lead and manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration

  • Produce and oversee technical documentation and planning

  • Prepare and present materials for agency approvals (zoning, Commission of Fine Arts, life safety, etc.)

  • Prepare design competition proposals

  • Lead and execute construction administration, including site coordination and issue resolution

  • Develop and organize project data, i.e., schedules and budgets

Located two blocks from the Red Line at Friendship Heights in Washington, DC, Shinberg.Levinas fosters individual growth in a studio setting. A strong design aesthetic and the ability to work within a team framework are essential. We emphasize thoughtful, collaborative design on all of our projects.

We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation for this role typically ranges from $80,000 to $130,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
