Qualifications:
10+ years' experience
Professional Degree in Architecture
Experience in institutional, commercial, and residential work
Strong design sensibility
Experience in project management, project documentation, and construction administration.
Established ability to lead a project, meet deadlines, and coordinate consultant scope.
3D modeling, rendering, and graphical representation proficiency is required, i.e., Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino3d, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Must be able to commute to the office in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate across consultants, contractors, and ownership to ensure project alignment and execution
Lead and manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration
Produce and oversee technical documentation and planning
Prepare and present materials for agency approvals (zoning, Commission of Fine Arts, life safety, etc.)
Prepare design competition proposals
Lead and execute construction administration, including site coordination and issue resolution
Develop and organize project data, i.e., schedules and budgets
Located two blocks from the Red Line at Friendship Heights in Washington, DC, Shinberg.Levinas fosters individual growth in a studio setting. A strong design aesthetic and the ability to work within a team framework are essential. We emphasize thoughtful, collaborative design on all of our projects.
We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation for this role typically ranges from $80,000 to $130,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
